Queanbeyan Riverside Caravan Park

Excellent location. A really nice park next to the river. Great showers too.

Lovely little park with very clean amenities, easily accessible sites and in a great location.

Just spent the Easter Weekend at this park and had no problems whatsoever. Was quiet, close to town, close to bus terminus which has a direct bus to Canberra City and the Parliamentary Triangle. Had a riverside site, there are people walking, running by on the track but nothing intrusive.

We didn’t read the reviews before booking here, and I was regretting it. I don’t think we would have booked if I had read it first. But I’m so glad we didn’t! This park was a great location, had nice amenities and not too big. Close to the shops for forgotten items, had a kids park close by and the river right behind us. For those like us that are park runners, it was also perfect location to tick off Q. Considering how close we were to the town and shops, we thought it was very quiet. Even with the sprint cars being on and it being Easter weekend. Did we hear some traffic ? Yes. Were there general public also walking past on the public path? Also yes. Both things didn’t impact the stay at all. We have been disturbed more when free camping in the bush. We didn’t have any issues that required making contact, didn’t find 1 fob for bathrooms too inconvenient. I would have preferred to have the camper on the gravel and sit on the grass, but we would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here, nice quite but a bit to 'open to the public' for my liking. Facilities clean though.

Nice enough caravan park. Small and tidy with good location to shops and has playground for kids. Camp kitchen and laundry are in same room with no windows, so gets hot. Tried using stove to make dinner but did not work. Contacted property with no response. Sites are large and flat.

We recently stayed 5 nights at QRCP & found it a very enjoyable experience. It's an excellent location overlooking the river & a short walk to shops, cafes, parks & all amenities. Even though we faced a busy road, it was very quiet after hours. The facilities were very clean & well cared for. Would definitely recommend.
